Horrible tragedy

My family owns a ranch where they farm many crops. On saturday we had a horrible tragedy. All I have heard to date is that he was turning on one of our pumps. Its a rather large irrigation pump with a panel on a pole with the pump on a cat walk over the water. Apparently he was turning the pump on but what happen is horrible. The panel blew up and blew the window out of his pickup and put tiny pin holes thru the door. He was killed instantly and to make matters worse his 8 year old little boy sat in the pickup not 6 ft away from him. The boy jumped out of the pickup and ran over 2 miles to town to get help. Its a horrible tragedy please say a prayer for this family he had 5 children and he was their bread winner. Appreciate today and know that tomorrow you can be gone. Cal OSHA and PG&E are looking into the matter at this time. I don't know how to cut and paste but the article is in the Colusa Sun Hearld. I don't work on the ranch but I know my family will do everything they can to make sure that financials will be taken care of. God bless this family and God Speed
