Hospice the final stage
Steve Jobs just recently just went thru hospice and his last words were, " oh what a trip". My best friend started hospice yesterday as he has been fighting cancer for over 6 years. We have almost love Jim twice during Chemo. Yesterday my friend made the decision that enough is enough. This man did 2 tours in Vietnam and has worked his entire life. Until last year he never shared much about Vietnam. I have heard many stories about sacrifices people made in his platoon. Now Jim is making the ultimate sacrifice because he will soon be leaving us. I am not looking forward to the road ahead but I will be happy when Jim is not in a place of pain anymore. I write this with a heavy heart because this man taught me so much. His love for life is what gave us the last 6 years. If you believe in religion please keep Jim in your prayers. God is getting a Jewel in Jim Monroe. God Speed
