How bad is our weather right now? Storm Chasers bad.

Heard reports from several friends they are here. Indeed they are.

Live Tracker Map : Storm Chasers : Discovery Channel

It's f'ing nasty right now. There was a place 45 min west of me receiving the equivalent of 13" or rain/hour.

Couple confirmed tornado's. I MAY have lucked out as it looks as if it's just to the west heading north. Perhaps another big storm brewing just to the south...

GL man experienced the tornado siren myself a few weeks ago and I got a little nervous when things started flying around.

WHEW! That was the biggest pucker factor I've had in some time.

Tornado touched down 15 miles west of us and went NE. Just crossed 13 miles north of us.

Have a police scanner on my phone and was listening to the weather spotters. Many funnel clouds reported but only 1 touchdown that I heard.

The rain was so heavy ahead of the tornado that it was equivalent of 17"/hour. 40 miles north of me had a foot of water on the highway--emergency travel only.

Warnings til 1am...work @ 530...

Oh, and thanks for the kind words.

Prayers for the town of 3500 40 miles north of me. They had record flooding 7-10 days ago. Just got into clean their mess and here comes more rain.
