How can you price options

I was just wondering if there is an easy way to be able to figure out how much an option might be worth in the future, should the underlying stock `pop`.
Is there a mathematical way to figure it,,,,,or is it only based on the sentiment of the market.
I`m holding some Ambac November calls, hoping for some good news soon, just wondering if the calls will explode if it shoots up over $4 again
