How F*CKED am I?

So, I'm driving back to NJ from Boston tonight in the storm of the century and I stop off at a restaurant about an hour from my house to get some dinner and I'm getting into the parking lot and end up going through a puddle which turns out to be 1.5 ft deep or more and my car turns off! Now, I am stuck in f'ing paramus, nj and waiting to find out from mercedes tomorrow if the car just needed to dry out or if the electrical system is shot, needless to say I am f'ing pissed off, this has been a horrible f'ing night!

happened to me once in runnemede (sp?) new jersey going to atlantic city. except my puddle was 4 feet deep, more like a mini river, from massive downfall and we decided to gamble going thru it. car was dead, never recovered really.

as far as not starting most likely you got the water in the coil or distributer. seen this happen before however a deep enuff hole could cause more serious suspension problems...

wasn't really a hole, just flooded area, suspension should be fine, more worried about the engine and electric.

not to worry then but they gonna have to take the dristributer apart and dry it all up. i remember one time it happened and we towel dried it and it still wouldnt start, took it apart and let it sit in the sun all day and tried again and vroom vroom but since its a benz you gonna get hosed on the repair bill a lil but i am sure you knew that was comin anyway...

GL hope it all works out my guess is $200-300 job if the distributer is still good..

Yeah, I hope that your car is ok, but anytime that someone is talking about a Mercedes and problems, I start thinking that there might be people with problems that are really fuked that own a geo metro and have terrible problems.
