Cool How Good A Handyman Are You ?

Install a Ceiling Fan ,

Take down the crappy job ceiling box builder job , re do and properly
re- screw into wood joist
to hold the weight

wire everything nice and neat
level so fan doesn't wabble ,
set up remote control ,

6 beer 2 hr job ,
scale of 1-10 give it a 9 looking ...

Wouldn't wanna do it for a living ...

Why does Home Depot sell Ceiling fan remotes with "12" volt battery
not included
And doesn't sell 12 volt batteries

Went to 5 dif't places looking for the small thing
( e.g. walmart , best buy , etc)

Guess where I end up finding it?

The Dollar store ...

Any others ?

Anyone ever build their own deck ,
shed ,

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

I have built several gazebos...as a team building project for work....it sucked...

I have installed several ceiling fans not the greatest

Repaired a pipe under my sink and replaced a couple of water hoses on my car....

But if it was up to me and they still had full service gas stations....I would be there

You must be rich if that's all u can/will do cuz u have to hire outside labour for everything else. A licensed plumber or electrician charges between $75-$120 per hour in my city. I know a few bricklayers that make more than my family doctor at year's end. There's definitely money in Trades .

well it was somewhat of a joke. But, I am an attorney. I went to law school. I am NOT a plumber or electrician and I am smart enough to know that I should not be attempting to do those things. Just doin' my part to help the economy .

Have friends or family in most trades so havn't had to pay much over the years.
I'm not a bad handyman but anything major I leave to the pros.
