How Many Had a 4 Day Weekend Officially
Just wondering with the 4th falling on a Tuesday how Americans were given Monday off as well as today to make a very nice 4 day weekend?

That and I am pretty damn bored at work today, lol


Should add the US definitely have the right idea when it comes to Thanksgiving as well with a 4 day weekend then as well, here in Canada we are stuck with only a 3 day weekend but I vow if I am ever elected Prime Minister of Canada that will be the first thing I change, lol

cpt - All holidays here are given the extra day. lol

It's goofy. Even sometimes when a holiday falls on a Sunday they will close the banks and close schools on Monday. It makes no sense

Thanksgiving is one thing - but it seems like it's every holiday

I'm in sales, so it worked out for me, but thanks to the wonderful company named Wal-Mart, most people are lucky to get one paid day off anymore. I remember as a kid, everything closing by 5 or 6 pm and nothing open on Sunday. People actually had family values back then. I like to blame Wal-Mart for their fair share of what they have done to society.

Oops... I almost forgot. I won't be able to make it fellas. Veronica and I trying this new fad called uh, jogging. I believe it's jogging or yogging. it might be a soft j. I'm not sure but apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild.

5 day weekend here as well. Only Mon and Tues were paid though. Took today off to recoup from the long weekend. lol
