I play and I do very well. The key is finding the right table. 90% of poker players read like a book, and it is not different on line. Most of these players show their hand after the deal by their betting habits. Patients can earn you a lo of money in these games. Knowing how to bleed players is also very important.

If you are patient and not too greedy you can make money by going to the smaller blind tables and playing against newbies who are all excited about playing poker b/c they watch it on tv.

This is basically what I do. I consider myself a very good player, but it is more +EV to play with these crappy players then play bigger limits with players just as good as you. I would probably break even on high limit table while risking more of my banroll, while at .50/1.00 or 1/2 games I can rake in a guaranteed profit every week.

I find it harder to play with newbies because they are unpredictable, they do retarded things, don't play consistantly. I play small blind games just to get practice against them and keep myself sharp. But, when I want a serious game I like to play with better players at the higher tables.

It is all about finding the perfect table. Like you said, some players are just way too unpredictable and that can play into their advantage even if they are horrible. You need to find players that are bad, and do the same thing everytime. Also calling stations that constantly call with middle pair can make you a lot of money over time.

Its funny that we both said over time in back to back posts. Thats is what poker is all about, it really is a marathon. And if you get beat by a terrible player because they hit a 2 outer, and you have a losing day, just keep playing the way you are playing and you will more than make up for it over time.

LMAO. Yea, some people really are that dumb. I have seen all sorts of crazy shit playing. I have seen someone throw away over 200 dollars on a table, kept going all in every hand with nothing.
