How much power should moderators have

it depends on certain mods. there's a couple on here i wouldnt agree with them having so much power. but there's also a couple i trust completely to use their judgement and not abuse their power. gerk's one of those i like and know is fair.

Moderators have various levels of authority and we are granted a wide birth.

Trust me I have made enough mistakes to have been fired over.

However, we do have rules and while they have grown looser over the years since I became a mod shortly after I joined...one rule that is clear is that forum members do not get to decide our authority . It is our performance and loyality that earns privlidges.

Chumly I like you and read your threads and to my recollection you have not tried to be a dick. This thread you started is disrespectful and locked.
