How will you guys fund your online books?
I have been steadily using a local guy, but still use Betcris and cybersportsbook, but now with the impending signing by President Bush of the ports bill it is going to be harder to fund and take out money from these sites, not to mention the poker sites. I have an off-shore bank acct set up that I can use in these troubling times to fund my accounts, but I'm curious as to what methods everyone else plan on using.

Neteller. Business as usual.
If that goes under, they sure as hell can't stop me from sending an International Money Order. I looked at offshore banks, but the fees were too much to justify using for just sportsbook transactions. Maybe if I was sheltering or something. Last edited by Bobtheicon; 10-12-2006 at 05:46 AM. |

Unfortunately, I think the off-shore acct and international money orders will be the only ways to transact business.

Funding of offshore wagering sites will not be affected until the Federal Reserve, Attorney General and Treasury Department are able to get together a set of regulations that financial instititutions will be required to follow. The Act gives them 270 days (none months) to do this and even then it is highly doubtful that paper checks will be monitored. This is an option that will remain regardless of whether or not third-party companies like Neteller continue to stay in this business.
Nothing is going to change for a few months at least.
