Thumbs down Howard Stern Announces Contract Resolution

anybody know if this is true....

Thursday, 2 December 2010

Howard Stern, Talk Radio Host, Shock Jock and self proclaimed King of All Media, announced at a press conference today he would not be re signing his contract with Sirius/XM Radio. The announcement was prompted by Sirius hiring Dr Laura Schlessinger, a controversial, opinionated, mostly conservative, talk radio host.

"Dr Laura is an asshole of monumental perportions", said Stern, "she's the reason people don't like talk radio to begin with".

Dr Laura had a negative incident awhile back, where she used the n-word over the air, she then had to do a big campaign to redeem her reputation and swell the tide.

Dr Laura claimed she was leaving the radio at the end of her contract. She said, I have to leave radio so I can exercise my first amendment rights.

Stern told the press, "Sirius has made it's decision, it's Dr Laura or me, these two paths do not cross, oil and water".

Dr Laura has claimed in the past she would not work on a network that had Howard Stern on it. If this is true, maybe she knows Howard Stern has already committed to the decision to leave.

Sterns leaving terrestrial radio caused a major change in programming across the nation. His going to satellite created a vacuum in programing for local stations. Local radio scrambled to fill the void Stern and his crew of whack packers left. Stations tried filling the time slot with a variety of personalities but the public never got on board. Most stations abandoned talk radio altogether and went to other forms of programming.
