Question Hurricanes, Tornados, Earthquakes - which is worse?

I am asking those who don't live with any of them.

What do you think is worse? Which scares you more?

For me it's earthquakes - I will take a pass on living where there are Earthquakes.

Anyone else?

Hurricanes you can some what prepare for. You know when it's coming. Earthquakes happen without warning but they do not happen very often. And when they do, most of them are small. Tornados give little warning and they happen EVERY year. I'll say tornados. However, I've only lived in California my whole life so I haven't experienced tornados or hurricanes.

Tornados are scary because of reasons you mentioned. I would list them at #2 though. I don't particularly like to think about the Earth just shaking without any rhyme or reason. lol

corker - are you scare of Tropical Storms too? C'mon over man - we will see if we can run away from it!

South Florida braces for Tropical Storm Ernesto

Ernesto blurb Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center in Miami said the storm, with 45 mph sustained winds and higher gusts at midmorning, was likely to grow more powerful as it crossed the warm Florida Straits between Cuba and the peninsula. It could reach minimal hurricane strength before it makes landfall as early as Tuesday night.

Tornados are just plain scary. I live in an area that we are surrounded by toronado and the toronado sirens go off all the time in the spring. I can't stand hearing them go off, especially in the middle of the night.
