I am pretty pissed off right now (Poker story).

I have been making a shitload of money in sportingbet poker room.. and this is the second time this has happened. The poker room freezes up while I am in the middle of a heads up game. The first time I was slightly behind in the game and I e-mailed them and they refunded me my $30.00. This was when I was just trying them out and I only had like $10.00 left in my account. Since then I have been on an absolute tear in poker (and betting) and I have my account up to about $400. I was just playing one of the worst players I have ever played in a $20 heads up game (complete calling station)... had him to 700 left in chips and had AK of diamonds and got the flush and was about to put more damage into his chips because of course he was going to call with the pair of 9s or whatever he had. But then I got the error and when I was ctrl-alt-deleted out of there and signed back in he had won the game.

This time I emailed them and said I wanted the $40.00 because there was NO WAY I was losing that game (slight exageration because he would of had chips left, but he was BAD.) I told them I wouln't play in tournaments anymore if they refunded my 40.00.

I hate making a big deal out of things, but this is their fault not mine. I have a top of the line computer with no internet problems, this can't be my fault. They better refund my 40 bucks..

Here is a pic, I cut some stuff out because I had the URL and stuff in the backround.

Isn't that sad. I am sorry I am drunk and venting. I better have that 40 when I wake up or there will be hell to pay though. What do you think about sites like this? I mean I could play at like Partypoker or something with no problems... but I like this site for its live betting, and I just happened to try out the poker room and notice I can make an easy $50 a night off these clowns, so why shouldn't I keep playing there?

no thanks... well lets see what happens in the morning. Last time they refunded me, I expect they will again.

I apreciate it though pascer, you are here to help the little people like me. I don't play for much, but I'm just grinding it out for now and every 40 bucks is a little something to me.

Nah I am good... I am a proven winner as you would say, up at least a grand or two in my life, and that is playing at lower limits. Lower limits means worse players, but it takes longer to grind out that much money. I play a solid game, against average to below average players.

I always wanted to see how I would do against some pros though.. I mean I know I am not the best, but it would be fun to play some great players for a challenge. I know the real money for me will always be playing the suckers though.

I am still not old enough to play in Casinos though, so I got a long poker career ahead of me. If you ever need someone working for you, I would be happy to grind it out if I had a bankroll to work with.. Maybe someday.

i play low stakes also..a lot of people will laugh at low stakes...but money is money and is not that hard to make up if you play consistent over a few hours a day everyday...i play even lower stakes than you do and i make about 30 bucks a day which is more than enough to live comfortably in thailand where i am moving to in april...30 a day everyday is almost 11 grand a year...not bad for playing a game you enjoy

I just sent a copy of my e-mail to their poker response team and added this at the end. I also included pictures of the error I recieved and a live chat I was having with one of their site operators as I was about to lose the game. There is no way this is the fault of my computer or my connection.

---
Any help you can give me would be appreciated. I hate to make a deal out of $40.. but I can't see how that can be a big deal for a company, but it is a pretty big deal to a small time player like me. Like I said if we can resolve this I will continue to spread good word about your site, and I will be staying out of any tournaments to avoid this happening again.

Sincerely,

Bill Haan

So... now to see if they care about keeping their customers happy, or if they just don't give a shit. I will keep updated. If they screw me I will be taking my money out of there and spreading bad word about them.

I always thought your initials were FTW, ah well, but I do know after some games we play I say WTF a lot, heh. I do fine when I play for fake money, but when I'm at the $1/2 tables (I'm not ready to risk anymore yet) I don't seem to win much, any advice for key hands to bet, or to bet after the flop? Thanks.

Well... I'll be honest, I just realized I am not all that good at teaching poker. Especially have to type it out. There are good forums to help your game, 2+2 is one.

It is just something I have done for awhile and it seems some people just have a natural instinct for it, although there is some math calculating odds, but I just do it roughly in my head, making reads on peoples hands is more important.

Starting with premium starting hands is good for a begginer, but once you are good you can play with almost any hand. I would recomend the obvious, but it depends on how many people are in the game. At a 8 to 10 person table I would play Pockets Jacks and up, and AK, AQ, and KQ for a raise if I am not in a good position. Other then that I would probably fold if I was playing tight. If I know everyone is going to be really lose and call everything I play more tight, if they seem like they are playing tight I will let hell out on them.

Anyway, I am pretty blazed right now so this may not have many any sense. Japac will give you lessons im sure.
