live and online

I play some at the casinos and some online. I have to say I enjoy the people live rather than looking at the computer. I am terrible and have yet to win at both because I don't know everything yet. So, I try to get more practice without loosing money and play online at the tables with play money. It's not even close to being like a real game cause everyone bets and goes all-in every single hand. How stupid. I play with real money and I get to play alot longer but actually loose money. In Texas holdem, I AM the statement "I can't win for loosing"!

Problem with $20 heads up game.

Dear Bill,

Thank you for your email regarding your poker account.

Our game servers run on a secure server which is constantly updating information to and fro your computer ever fraction of a second.

In order for your computer to maintain the best possible link there is, it is constantly re-routing, and attempting to obtain the best connection possible.

If your ISP servers disconnection from us, then there is no longer a live feed to your computer and this results in a freeze, in which case there is no activity on your screen.

You can still connect to other sites as your ISP remains connected to others, the solution to this problem is to contact your Internet Service Provider to come up with a possible solution.

We normally recommend that you remove all cookies and temporary internet files off your computer regularly and that you only run our poker software to maintain an optimum connection.

We cannot reinburse your funds as the disconnection clearly occurred at your end and we cannot be held responsible for this. The other player at the table did not experience any similiar problems.

If you still continue to experience the same problems, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind Regards,

Demis

it doesnt matter what you have, it matters what your opponent has. I made a call last night in a live game as the button with 10s-8s, in a 1-2 NL game, it was raised and then re-raised to 60. I called and I flopped an open ended straight flush draw. At this point I could care less what the bet was, i wa calling no matter what. guy in 1st position moves all in with a set of jacks, next guy re-raises his all in with kings, i then had to call about 185 with 16 outs. in a cash game your making that call all day.

turn and river were blanks, and i lost the hand, but i didnt really care, to get my money in a what was a $600 pot with 16 outs, its like a gift.
that would be 14 outs dude
