Thumbs down I heard Tiger say he has been hurt for an entire decade

LMAO - I am sorry but this guy is to much!

We have seen golfers play with one leg so suck it up already and quit whining.

We know you played the US Open all battered and are a hero

If a golfer can play an entire decade on one leg.....then golfers must be true athletes.

Tiger once dunked on Jordan in a pick up game in Wilmington, and I think he scored a touchdown on a triple reverse trick play back in college.........

I heard him say that after he heals, he will be in better shape than he has been in a decade. Boy is he in for a surprise. The Ligaments may or may not heel, but when you start suffering stress fractures, school is out. There is no way to stop those, especially with the type of stress that he puts on his left leg. Now what are the odds that he passes Jack in all time Slam wins?

Not true. I have read and heard many doctors say that there is less than a 2% chance that he will not recover fully (game shape). 85% chance that the knee will be "just as good"...and if his claims that he has been playing injured for 10 years, this long rehab period will make it stronger. Can't remember the procedures but there is 3 to choose from. As for the stress factures, time off will heal. This will be his longest stretch from golf since he was born

His problem is going to be time. He is at the alleged "peak" of his career now. As he gets older, it is going to take more time for him to heel, and the chances of a full recovery go down. He also has had physical problems with his knee, for most of his golfing career. I have seen too many great athletes suffer major injuries and came back, only to lack that certain something that made them great. You also must look at the total picture. He is married now, and has a child which he loves. He is going to be spending a lot of time with his family, and will enjoy that more and more. This means that he will want to return to the every day grind of the tour less and less. While he will do it, a couple of bad events and the doubts start creeping in. He has enough money to last 10 lifetimes. He will probably get into course design, like Palmer, Nicklaus and others did. This is just not real good for him.

Just watch and see what happens. The mind can play strange games with you, especially when you have been shut down physically for a year. Every little thing gets magnified.
