I just got picked up to play semi-pro baseball

I'm so f'in happy that I got picked up. This league has great competition and some former Major League and Minor League baseball players. We start in a month, so I thought I'd drop by and let you guys know. Wish me luck.

Thanks guy's.

Ron LOL, I'll let you know when I get hot because we use wooden bats and I haven't used a wooden bat in years, so I will have to get used to it. However, I could help out the fielding category.

No, that is an independent league. The semi pro league plays only in Delaware. It has some former MLB and Minor league players, college players that home for the summer and former college players. Players also are looking to get picked up because they have scouts sometimes at the games. I wish I could get picked up for playing, however I'm 26 years old and they want younger talent, but you never know. The Phillies used to send players down there to brush up their skills.

Yeah kinda of. It's not like I'll get drafted out of this league, however they do have scouts and former MLB players, so It's great competition. Just getting to play with great talent will be fun.

It's not like anybody can play in this league. Pitchers usually throw in high 80's to low 90's.
