I just read this on CBC.ca about prostitution
In street: Will soon be legal in Ontario
Brothels: Ditto Call services: Narrowly legal It's legal to swap sex for cash in Canada, but is a crime to conduct such a deal in public, maintain a dwelling for prostitution or earn money as a pimp or madam, among other offences. Ontario Superior Court Judge Susan Himel struck down those provisions on Sept. 28, 2010, but suspended her decision for 30 days, giving the government time to launch an expected appeal. It remains illegal to procure someone to have sex with another person, which restricts how escort services can operate. very interesting
