I Need To Know

i havent used a certain sportsbook in a long time. i emailed them to get my acct# and password and received a response stating that i needed to scan my drivers liscense or passport in order for them to give me my acct# and password. Now, i can easily give them them basic information they want and i have also emailed them from the addy i opened the acct on.

Question i have is has this ever happened to anyone because if it hasnt then i have more to say about some things that have happened to me over the last 3 months, unbelievable what that was and is but i tell you this, if the only way for me to get the acct# and password is to send them a scan of my id then i wont deposit anything and they can kiss my ass.

funny thing is i just did this with another book and didnt need a damn thing. i was on the phone when i did everything i needed to re=open that acct with that book.

talk to me and tell me that if you ever forgot your acct# and password that YOUR book told you they needed your passport or d.i. scanned and sent in.

Some books do requir ID for deposits.Intertops I believe does.Just don't use them if you feel uncomfortable.I know I am real reluctant to send photo ID.I have only done it once and it was with one of our sponsors and it still made me uneasy.

This is done for security reasons, otherwise anyone could say they are you and e-mail your book and ask for your acct# and password & take any funds you may have in your book. Sending in a DL or ID is a commen practice at most books now. You should be happy when a book does this, that means they are looking out for there players, and for your money.

Just tell them that rather than submitting the requested information, you would be more comfortable opening a new account and see what they say.
