I need to relocate

I have been in the landscape business for over 20 years. I am presently managing a shopping center and a Duck club. I still also have a landscape business but due to no installs I took on the duck club. At the moment I am looking for a job anywhere in USA. This is serious post. Some of you may know that my father fell and broke his hip. I went to go see him and my step mother said I was not welcomed. I come from a farming family. My grandfather came to California from Idaho with $10 sewed into his hat. I spent a lot of time and even lived with my grandfather and my grandmother. The last two years of his life I spent driving him around the ranch with him. He had demacular generation of the eye so he could not see well. Our family owns over 2000 acres of prime farm ground. We were lucky farmers as the ground is rich with natural gas. With the direction my step cunt mother is going I need a new start. That means finding a job in this horrible economy. If any of you can help I would be forever greatful. I would have put this in the safe Haven but I wanted to touch as many of you as I could. I have been thru a lot so please do not turn this into a basement thread. I really need to get out of where I am now. Thanks

I would gladly try anything. I am 47 and yes I do have health issues. I am living with out a stomach. Sales ? Never been into sales but I have ran a business for the last 20 years. I have worked with business with at a local shopping center. I have degree in Soc which opened no doors years ago. I have coached football for 10 years at the High School level. I need to get out of here. I have been looking at North Carolina for about 2 months now. Any help would be appreciated. My goal is to get away and finally be happy. I can not tell you how hard it is to lose your family. The last year has really worn on me. I need a new start and I thank all of you for your support.

Your family has 2000 acres+ and you are getting cut out of it?

Great farm land here, in Central Illinois is extremely valuable..$10,000 per acre if my memory is correct and even rents for almost $300 per acre..Pretty big number for 2000 acres, even if its half the value of Illinois black dirt

Deck,
Willing to put the time in to learn what is needed for any job. I am a hard worker and very dedicated. I have no criminal record and I am as honest as they come. I have been in charge of big money at this duck club dealing with 7 multi-millionares. One of the members is Sandy Schwab Charles Schwabs son. I will need to move on my own until I get settled. Then I would bring my family when I get settled in.

Chibob, our family farm has natural gas. My dad has a total of 7 wells on his property. The 2 newest ones were puling in $79,000 a month. This land is worth way more then $10,000 an acre with the mineral rights. I worked on this ranch all my life as a kid. Its a beautiful piece of property. My grandfather would be sick if he could see what was happening with his ground and his family. And yes my step mother kicked me to the curb. But life goes on and people get new starts all the time. I have to pray that something good comes my way. My wife and son are crushed so moving forward is a must. Again, I thank all of you for keeping this thread clean. I am really up against it at this time. But I wll land on my feet and make something good happen from this. God Speed.

You might consider spending some time in the library, checking out some stats from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, find an area of interest, i.e. possibilities of work, average pay, educational levels etc.

I don't think you can just head for Carolina, without any idea of what it has to offer, but you can certainly check it out.

Do your research before you leave. Have a plan for what you want to do before you go.

Steel, Dallas is one of the fastest growing cities in America. With penlty of job growth and cheap nice suburbs to live in. You have everything from oil, to accounting to all sorts of corp. headquarters in this area. There is farm land and pretty much everything you want to get into.

My advice, is to look on Monster/Career builder, look for the type of job you want to get into, and then start looking around the county putting your resume out there and see if anything bites.

I wish you and your family well and good luck on your new ventrue.

With coaching background and a degree you could easily get a teaching certificate or move to a locale you like and start substitute teaching while working on your certificate. Just a suggestion... Best of luck to you and your family.
