i need some advice on a half court shot!!
i won a drawing at my bank and i am taking the half court shot at the hornets-lakers game saturday night. does anyone have any experience with this? i am one of the worst basketball players on the planet. i have gone to the gym and i cannot figure out the best way to attempt this. i seem to do best when i take a set shot. it also seem best when the arc is real high. just would like any advice anyone has. thanks

You are shooting from approximately 46 feet away. My best advice is to get real lucky real quick. I know this doen't help but, that's the only real advice to give in this situation. Best of luck to you. Stranger things have happened.

Try and bank it, like a putt it is better to give it a shot by being long!

you need to wear a CM tee shirt while you shoot it! Can we get one overnighted ?!!!

First of all.....go practice.
I don't mean taking the shot, I mean get a feel of how hard you must shoot it for it to reach the hoop.
Once you get consistently close, then work on the accuracy.

you have 0% of a shot making it if you are short. You have to get it to the hoop for a chance.

watch some globetrotterz videoz...u can do it too...

spin da ball wit back spin...two handz wit ur thumbz coming up from da bottom...

practice some shotz...u'll get da feel...

oh yeah...and u gotta have an approach...(kinda like bowling)...


a three step appproach workz well fur me...
