ridiculously expensive

one thing people should be clear on

it is not a smartphone ( meaning you cant add programs on such as GPS and it doesnt have a memory card for such)

one thing in its favor is its well built physically

still treo and other phones way more functionality

Treos list at $450....of course they offer rebates and you could get one for $300 with a 2yr contract.

it's hard to say without actually seeing one but it looks like the iPhone will blow the Treo away

i agree tho...disappointing it doesnt have GPS. would be nice if it did and was integrated with Google Maps. they dropped the ball on that one.

About the price, I worked at Ericsson when the Emma came out. Emma was the first small phone. It sold from $1000 to $750 and people bought them left and right just because they were small.

As long as everything works, it will sell millions. I myself will not pay that price because it is not that important to me to be contacted or to surf the web.

i dunno man... apple doesnt really discount their products. the price for an ipod has been pretty steady. they'll sell tons of them without having to discount it.

I'm sure it is a nice phone, but I will wait until it is on the G3 network and not on an old and slow network like it currently uses.
