Thumbs down I saw someone die today

I witnessed a motorcycle accident today and the person died at the scene. It was actually the 2nd time I have seen something like this and it’s not fun.

I really don’t understand why people ride motorcycles. I know people will say but there are many more car accidents and you still drive a car. But it’s just hard to survive a serious crash on a motorcycle. It’s very sad.

Anyway hope he does RIP.

I agree...its really a very dangerous proposition and I don't get it. Its sad that people have to die, but that is the risk you take

happened to me in the 10th grade I was just 16 but driving and drove up on a 2 car accident after a local football game.
The two that died were dating and they were headed to the school dance after the football game as was I , walked up and a neighbor ran out of her house and said "Todd don't go up there their both dead."
I could smell the blood found out later girl had her head almost cut off by the windowshield.it was awful.

Jack,
I ride and but I live in the country for the most part. I love it. Most everyone who rides knows the risk but the rewards far out way the risk for me. I am selling my bike @ the end of the year but for other reasons and not for the fear of danger. I believe that when its your time its your time. Doesn't matter if you are sitting inside or riding a motorcycle. Wind in your hair bugs in your teeth, hell, it doesn't get any better then that. May the man you saw rest in peace and I am sorry you had to see that.
I once found a guy who shot himself with a shotgun so I know the feeling. Its something that will live with you forever.

No actually I live in Northern California. You have to wear a helmet in Cali. Selling my bike at the end of the year. My wife could not be happier.
