I was scammed pretty good this weekend
I walk in to Publix (grocery store) and this elderly lady approaches me and tells me I look just like her grandson. I was like that is nice.
She goes on to say that he died recently and would I mind calling her grandma... So I said okay have a good day "grandma" I went on my way and was ready to check out. I was like 4 people behind this elderly lady and she yells, BYE GRANDSON. I didn't want to embarrass her so I yelled back BYE GRANDMA So I got up in the line. Keep in mind I am in the Express aisle with like 3 things. The lady proceeds to tell me it's $85. I was like what??? She said "your GRANDMA" said you were paying for her stuff. I was like she is not even my grandma and the lady says "well you just said bye grandma" I didn't have any cash so I asked the lady to hold my visa and I left my daughter in line and said I would be right back. I ran outside and see this older lady sprinting away. I was running after her. She starts the car and is ready to pull away. Her leg was still hanging out of the car so I dove and PULLED her leg like I am pulling yours right now
