Look at the last 4 trading days on NHWK, and look at the lows from each day, there is now a shorterm technical breakdown on this stock from todays action.

No set price, I just follow the stock to see how it is trading, volume, and are they having heavy lots coming in with institutional buying, and also following the sector, BUT CHARTS ARE HUGE, THEY TELL YOU EVERYTHING. Look at my USU trade, I was holding it for a day or so, and saw it ran out of momentum and it was time to exit and it has been dropping ever since, thats why I do momentum trading and not long term. I just see what the market is showing me and try to make the right decision. Sometimes your right, and sometimes your wrong. When I daytraded AMZN yesterday for a nice gain, I new it would pull back and have profit taking but I didnt see it dropping that far down, or I would of held it even longer.

I almost forgot to update, I covered all 5,000 shares of NHWK, that gap up today killed me, I knew I should of sold half of my position yesterday. I covered at 18.70 for a loss 5 cents and a loss of 250 which isnt much, but I didn't want to hold it over the weekend, especially if the market opens up strong.

I am a momentum trader, I don't trade longterm stocks often, I usually hold stocks a few days or so. I look for stocks that have good and bad technicals. If I think a stock looks like a stock is breaking down, I will short it and if I think it looks like it is ready for an uptrend or breaking out I will buy. I am all about VOLUME, that is the #1 key in momentum trader, you want action going on in the stock, If you look at a lot of my trades and the charts I post it will show you my trading style. I will also daytrade stocks for intra day breakouts and breakdowns as well if all the technicals are showing me positive and negative signs. I dont care which way the market goes. If it is going down, I will find the weak stocks to short and if the market is looking positive, I will be buying. The best way to find these stocks is a lot of late night research. When the market is down, I look for stocks that have held up well because those are the stocks that will move fast when the market is strong, at the same time, if the market is strong, I will also look for stocks that are weak because they will be the 1st to drop on the down days. Keep in mind, NEWS can kill a lot of this but it has worked for me and this is the way I was taught and I think its a great strategy, for me at least, and thats a momentum traders strategy.
