If John Lennon hasnt been murdered....

do you think the Beatles would have ever reunited and performed a Super Bowl Halftime Show?

not so sure I agree with that. At the time he was murdered in 1980, he was clean and sober. He had released Double Fantasy, which was a great album, and it really looked like he had been re-born.

To answer the question. Would they have eventuallly re-united ? Yes, I believe so. Would they have stooped so low commercially to play the Super Bowl halftime.......I'd like to think not.

When it comes down to making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV."

I dont know that performing a SB halftime is exactly selling out....for someone like the Who to come out and embarass themselves with no new music out for sure it is.....but for someone like the Boss and EStreet who are still putting out relevent terrific new music year by year, I just see it as a chance to perform in front of the largest audience possible.....

I guess it would depend on what manner they returned in....

NO WAY!!!

This is not the same as Led Zep's latest reunion concert in London

or, add a lil' more stubborness between band members in Pink Floyd's re-union The Wall concert either

...John Lennon didn't like George from Day-1. At a certain age this is irreparable. John Lennon's problems go deep. I'm not a psychiatrist but his solo music reflects alot of it but not all.

I believe in this country you are innocent until proven guilty and I don't recall Bonds being proven guilty of anything. So, actually as of now he still is innocent...

The Beatles were probably never getting back together for any reason. And John Lennon sure wasn't doing the SB. JMO

I think the evidence points to them playing the SB:

McCartney still tours and loves the USA, Lennon died while living in NY, Ringo was on Larry King promoting a new album just a few years ago.

McCartney sang 3 Beatles songs out of 4 songs total at the SB half-time show he did himself.

They all loved music and sure they had to have the typical solo careers but i have little doubt they would probably still be touring today at least on occasion

and probably doing a combo concert where the eagles open, the stones are the 2nd act, and the beatles finish it off

ticket price: $5000
