McCartney sang 3 Beatles songs out of 4 songs total at the SB half-time show he did himself.

They all loved music and sure they had to have the typical solo careers but i have little doubt they would probably still be touring today at least on occasion

and probably doing a combo concert where the eagles open, the stones are the 2nd act, and the beatles finish it off

ticket price: $5000
Stones play second act to no band.. Dont have to.. Amazing that the Beatles as a group effected so much in the music business and touched so many peoples lives yet as the band the Beatles (not counting individual music) they have LESS then 10 hours of recorded music..
SIMPLY AMAZING.. What would you do if I sang out of tune....would you stand up and walk out on me......

As adults we can discuss this objectively but John had to live this subjectively in his youth--not an easy matter at that age as understanding of human nature is very limited.

Mother (lyrics by John Lennon)
------------------------------

Mother, You had Me I never had you
I wanted you but you didn't want me
So I got to tell you
Goodbye, Goodbye

Father, You left me but I never left you
I needed you but you didn't need me
So I just got to tell you
Goodbye, Goodbye

Children, Don't do what I have done
I couldn't walk so I tried to run
So I got to tell you
Goodbye, Goodbye

Mama don't go
Daddy come home
(repeat L2 lines 9 more times)

Hey Zig just making a joke about how expensive tickets are for the Eagles and Stones, I figure if I put those two together and add a Beatles concert people would have to mortgage their homes to go to the show

10 hours...that is amazing. Their songs are in many cases 2-3 minutes so I guess with 20-30 songs per hour it makes some sense.

The older I get the more I appreciate them. Their songs are so simple yet the lyrics and the themes still are relevant to this day, and to their credit, they played actual music. Not to sound like an old guy or anything but a lot of the crap out today doesn't even pretend to be talented. Too much posing today and not enough actual musical talent imo, i suppose ethis has been true for a long time...

Of the following three:

--------------
-Beatles

-Led Zeppelin

-Pink Floyd
---------------

who would become the biggest act if the original members get back together?

I would say Led Zep by far. Would make millions with CD-DVD album sales.

Beatles yes for concerts but would you really listen to that stuff in your car/home all the time? Live concerts doesn't generate cash like album sales.

Pink Floyd is too recent to draw a conclusion but Dark Side of the Moon stayed on the Top-100 charts the longest time nd awas the highest selling album in recent memory.
