If you can train your child as an athlete and guarantee a pro contract to one sport

Which sport would it be?

Or is baseball the obvious answer?

Golf......I think there might be a little flexibility in the schedule that you play.....less injuries (tiger, doh) or less chance of major injury...........Seems like a sport that is enjoyable to play even as a pro

But besides Tiger, do they make as much money as baseball players?

Prob not, but I would think that the avg pro golfer would have a chance at staying in his sport alot longer than the avg baseball, football or basketball player.....You can play professionally in golf for alot longer than most sports

I'm not sure what golfers you guys think are getting these "pro contracts", but I'd go with hockey. More fun than baseball, and not nearly as much long term injuries as football.

In golf you can't skate always have to earn your way from one year to the next...can't pull an Andruw Jones.

Just make the kid throw left-handed from the moment he's born...he'll have a long career.

Jack, your right if your talking solely to a contract. Meaning to me financially. Then it would obv have to be baseball with the money and guranteed contracts, NFL obv the worst. But if you just wanted to have your child play pro, what would joy/excite me the most?? Definetely in the NHL.
