If you could OWN any sports franchise, who would it be?

Set your fan bias aside for a minute and think business. Think about the market, location, the economic impact, sustainability, growth, profit/loss, marketability, fan base....etc. If you could own ANY franchise in sports, who would it be and why?

Who would it be out of all these leagues listed and those unlisted....?

Major League Baseball
National Football League
National Hockey League
National Basketball Association
English Premier League
Canadian Football League
etc......

I'll start with these two and will come back with the others

Major League Baseball
- New York Yankees - huge money maker plus buy any player you want

National Football League - Miami Dolphins - A great state with great tradition and it makes money - plus I would be a great owner

you don't have to choose one from each league if you don't want to Jack....I was just listing the leagues that came off the top of my head. Is there ONE specific franchise you would want to own over any others?

Owning the Yankees or Cowboys would probably be the biggest money maker and fame, but I'd love to own the Dolphins - I mean can't imagine anything better

If I had a hot tub time machine, I would own the 90's Bulls....such a glorious time.

Hope Henne earns a pullover next season, lol

My picks would be the Lakers, Dolphins, Leafs and Yankees. Only one picking with my heart is the Dolphins

I love the Mets and I can't put my fan bias aside. They are so inept as an organization from ownership to grounds crew right now that I feel my being a huge fan would only help.
