If you found $950 in an envelope, what would you do?

Dalton, GA police looking for the guy who picked up an envelope that had been dropped outside a gas station convenience store.

I understand the 'good Samaritan' thing, but evidently this is a felony crime. Hard to say what I'd do unless placed in the situation.

If I didn't know who's money it was I would keep it. I never knew it was a crime.

I think I'm gonna start leaving envelopes of cash around people I don't like and video tape them taking it.

Yup this is reasonable. I'm not going to hunt down this & find out how it got there but if I know it or can make a reasonable assumption who's it is then I would give it back. At least half of it. Lol & jk

def keeping, say i saw the dude get money out of atm or out of his pocket and then see the money right there and then maybe see the dude doing a look around, then ill do the right thing.

Way i figure it, if i lost 950 and couldnt find it and looked everywhere, i wouldnt expect ne1 to give it bk to me really

pulled into a c-store in Boise one time. was a womens wallet on the pay phone (this was 1989-90). inside was $1200. no id, no paper other than $$$. i sat there, shaking, for 10-15 min and nobody showed up so i kept it. actually went and put new wheels on my car.

I would of kept it as long as there was no contact info in it, but since it's in the news, and I need all the good karma I can get, I'd bring myself to return it, and at the end of the day it's not that much money.

My little brother loses his wallet once a month. One time, he gets a call from the people who found the wallet that they had found it but basically demanded a reward. they were holding it hostage. He had 20 bucks in it and I told him to give it to them but when he got it back. nothing was in it. He gave them no reward because we figured they took it

THE ART AND SCIENCE OF PICKING GOLF WINNERS
1. CLOSER with CHARACTER. Certain guys see the finish line and cross it and others are destined for second place.
2. RELAXED CONFIDENCE, FOCUS and a HUNGER to win. It's a mental game and their mind has to be in the right frame with a determination and focus. As Harry Vardon said: "To play well you must feel tranquil and at peace. I have never been troubled by nerves in golf because I felt I had nothing to lose and everything to gain."
3. COURSE. Does the course layout favor the strengths of the golfer and does it expose their weaknesses. Previous form can change immediately for those who feel comfortable on a course and its greens.
