In response to your email regarding SNICKERS BRAND .
As with all of our SNICKERS Brand advertising, our goal was to capture the attention of our core SNICKERS consumer. Feedback from our target consumers has been positive. In addition, many media and website commentators of this year's Super Bowl commercial line-up ranked the commercial among this year's top ten best. USA Today ranked it #9 of its top ten pick. We know that humor is highly subjective and understand that some people may have found the ad offensive. Clearly that was not our intent. Consequently, we do not plan to continue to air the ad on television or on our SNICKERS Brand website. Please be assured that we appreciate your feedback and value you as a consumer. I hated it.... my young son's asked why two guys kissed over a candy bar.

I guess if you like snickers because it is "packed" full of "nuts" and "goo", enough said. I know that I will not buy or eat anything from that company again.

Wow.. why are people getting so bent out of shape? The commercial is still on in Canada, saw it like 30 minutes ago...
To those who were offended by it, suck it up you fkn pansys... How are YOU personally OFFENDED when two guys almost kiss because of a chocolate bar.. it's funny.. if you don't find it funny, that's fine.. but I don't get why your so traumatized... you say your kid saw it, who gives a sht... their going to find out about gays and sht, sometime, better sooner than later... I laugh at people who get so bent out of shape, when there is a commercial like this.. It was supposed to be funny, and get people talking about Snickers. If you now, somehow hate the company because of this commercial, by complaining and getting the commercial off the air.... ACTUALLY DOES BETTER FOR THE COMPANY, you idiots...
