Im looking for a new job

Ok.......I left the car business almost two months ago and it's time to hit the job hunt.........

I have two years of college (no degree)

My customer service is second to none. (not fake)

Building a great rapport with customers is awesome. (great loyalty)

Great work ethic (I don't want to work EVERY Saturday and Every holiday)

I've worked in sales for the last 5 years

Worked with kids for 13 years

I am 41

Does anyone have anything that maybe I'm not thinking about? Does anyone's company have an office in Indy that might have some connections?
I prob need at least 35 k a year to start/survive with the chance of making at least 10k more.

ps.............I really feel that I'm an absolute steal for any company...The worst thing is not being able to get a foot in the door without having at least a bachelors degree.

I worked in a juvenile detention center for 10 years...It wasn't your hard core hit them in the head center, it was more hands on and doing activities all day long...(best job ever, just not great pay)
I worked 4 twelve hour days, then had four days off..I was a substitute teacher on my four days off...Loved it!.....
I also did the Big Brother program for two years (I was the big brother)
Before that, I worked at a Job Corp with some of the toughest kids in the country...Inner city Chicago, Detroit, Gary..............

I would have to really think about relocating

i know here you start in jd centers for 40 to 50 a year. this is kiddie jail though. the ceo of my company is the head of juvenile detention association. if you want to look into getting back in there let me know. i am sure he knows people in indy.

I would be hired instantly around here with the experience and references...They prob pay high 20's low 30's and the work conditions are horrible at the one in Indy. I appreciate it though.

I loved it...It was actually a different program. (easier to say big brother)It was actually from the Adult Child and Mental Health. It was run pretty much the same way.....This place actually paid me to do it, but it wasn't much money. I really enjoyed being a "friend" that could be there for the kid. We went to different sporting events, played video games, went to the movies etc. I used to talk to his mother, trying to find out if there was anything that she wanted me to talk to him about...I enjoyed it, especially since I didn't have any kids of my own.
