I'm newand need help!

Hi all!
I started betting few months ago after a friend referred me to a book, but so far I've lost every single wager. I'm not a high roller, my average bet is $50 and I don't do it often.
Can anyone please help me out? How do you guys win so much money?

Welcome LEEDEE!!!

Before I can offer you suggestions, perhaps you can provide me with some insight as to your betting habits/patterns, such as:

1) How do you decide which side to be on?
Do you cap your own games or do you follow somebody's advice, be it paid for or free?

2) Do you only bet favorites?

Any other tidbits that you can provide will be helpful.

As you can see, always taking the favorite isn't the way to go.

When you cap the games, you have to be aware that some teams are false favorites, that is, they are not as good as their record indicates. Therefore, you must take the dog in that case. I know its not easy to take the dog, but don't let the word UNDERDOG deter you from doing so. The same goes for OVER/UNDER. Most people would not bet the UNDER.

You need to keep an open mind when you are capping games. Anything can happen.

Welcome to the Mall.I personally treat betting as a hobby.I don't try to make a living at it.Biggest rule I think is don't bet over your head.If you can't afford to lose it don't bet it.Have fun. When it stops being fun stop betting. If you are comfortable with $50 there is nothing wrong with that.Money management is key.
