I'm officially retiring from videogames

NES - PS3. I had a system for every generation. In total, owning an nes, snes, genesis, playstation, n64, dreamcast, ps2, gamecube, and ps3.

But they just make games too ****ing hard now. I just got my ass skinned in MLB The Show 46-1 (getting that one run via homerun where I reached for a pitch and got lucky). Game is too hard. Tried playing football. Even harder. Tried playing a few first person shooters. Impossible. I die in about 45 seconds. The old school games where there were just simple patterns you had to learn are now over. With AI ramped up these games are too hard for my old ass.

So I'm retiring. Will keep my PS3 for blu ray purposes and the fact that my regular dvd player broke. But no more games.

Luckily I only own 6 games for PS3. Have played all the big ones though and they were all too hard.

So now I'm out of a hobby. It was fading over the years but now it's dead. What the hell else can I do? I tried playing card games but they are hard as well as being really geeky. The only thing remotely close to a hobby I have now is working out, but that isn't really a hobby is it?

Oh CM, is gambling now the only resource for an entertainment rush I have left?

another "retiring" thread

if you're not playing them anymore, fine, you don't retire from video games, cappersmall, or gambling (unless it's your profession)

the forum will miss ya PV but good luck in whatever you choose to do...

wait... Spooks! oh ok...

don't give up Spooks, there's too many great games out there to enjoy...

video games, drinking, gambling, sex, eating, sports, they're all good... why give up one of the best things in life?

just find some noobs and kick some butt... always feels better after that...
