Exclamation The Importance of Multiple Books

I think it's important to have at least 3 books at ur disposal at all times.

But with baseball season approaching, it's far more important in this sport than any other, imo. Betting moneyline sports, and constantly getting a worse line than what is available will kill you over the long haul.

No baseball lines available yet, as we're still in spring training, so I'll use tomorrow's NHL lines as an example. Both MLB & NHL are moneyline sports, and you'll find the lines & differences in lines between different books about the same.

We'll use 3 different books, and see the difference in the lines. Pinnacle, Cris, and Matchbook.

We are going to play Nashville, Pittsburgh, and the LA Kings. I highlighted the best line for each game in red.

Pinny Lines:
Nashville +158
Pittsburgh +165
LA Kings +138

Cris Lines:
Nashville +150
Pittsburgh +170
LA Kings +140

Matchbook Lines
Nashville +139
Pittsburgh +160
LA Kings +145

If you are $100 per game bettor, and just booked at only one of these shops, you would be risking $300 to win:
$461 @ Pinnacle
$460 @ Cris
$444 @ Matchbook

However, if you have all 3, you would be risking $300 to win $473.
An average of the three books listed above is risking $300 to win $458

That's $15 a day in potential profit being lost by just booking at one book. Of course, you aren't gonna win every game, so realistically it's more like $8 a day flushed down the toilet. Doesn't seem like much, but it is. $56 dollars a week. Over the course of a 26 week baseball season it's $1500.

Keep in mind, $1500 is the amount lost for someone who bets 3 games a day, $100 a game. If you average $300 per game, you can triple that amount, and cost yourself nearly 5 grand in a season by booking at one shop, rather than three. Find yourself a few books this baseball season, and shop lines & save yourself some money.

A few cents on a moneyline doesn't seem like that much, does it? lol
