Indianapolis 500

Anyone outside of Indiana care about this? I know it used to be a HUGE deal to the whole world, but I think now there is too much other stuff going on. Its still a huge party but they have cut back on women showing their juggies WOuld like to know if anyone is coming to the Circle City for the Race or Qualifying or Carb Day. Good times at the track for all

Indy 500 is still the cream of the crop in American racing. As soon as I can con my way to free seats and other perks through work you'll see me there Cat. Just didn't happen for me this year.

I have a question for you catdaddy. Why do they not show the 500 on TV in the Indy market area? In college, I was invited to a 500 party and when I went there, I went inside the house to watch the race. Wrong answer! They listened to it on the radio. How lame was that? I don't know of any sport that is blocked out in that area. I understand for regular season games, but for what is supposed to be "the Greatest spectacle in racing". I never did understand it............

hey bro, that was a tradition growing up. Doing something outside like playing baseball or working in the yard or something. WHatever it was we would have the radio cranked and listening to the 500. It has always been blacked out in Central Indiana, i am assuming to sell more tickets. They always play a replay of the race on TV that night, but the radio is the way to go lol.
