Info on the iphone

If you have any interactions with this phone please post the MODEL you have as I understand theres different models sorta like the PS3, I am interested in knowing pros and cons on it or about it BEFORE I purchase it, mainly interested in the internet actions and how well does it work for these kind of sites.....forums as ...., and also can you or would you be able to place a wager at a sportsbook with it?? I currently have a nextel model i7100 blackberry which allows me to VIEW my sportsbook pages but do to it NOT KEEPING COOKIE TRACKING I CANNOT PLACE THE WAGER, will the iphone solve this problem? Also how do the OTHER features work as well ie...PHONE RECEPTION, ipod(imagine that is good), email and text capabilities, and can you use custom ringtones such as songs or song clips on the phone or are you stuck with the basic tones they set up wit it??? Some say the nextel blackberry i7100 CANNOT use custom tones I know FOR A FACT U CAN, a little difficult to do but I do have them on my phone......sorry for the long read but I would like to know more before I waste money or before I switch from BAD SERVICE TO WORSE!!!!!! THANKS ALOT FELLAS and I appreciate any and ALL input!!!!!!!

i have an iphone. Pretty the diff between the different model is that the software might be different. Also I tink they disconnected the 4gb and talking about disconnecting the 8gb. The new 16 gig just came out so its pretty an ipod too if you want. I dont know if you are getting the legit one or the hacked one but i have the hacked one which allows you to use tmobile's service. That helps because I am able to use their internet package which is 5.99 opposed to at&t's 20 internet plan. I can pretty much go on any website i want and i put bets in al the time with the iphone...hope that helps, at first i was scared to spend so much on one because of stories i heard but my phone has been great up to this point..

Thanks Mr. Who and you mentioned a hacked one?? How do I come across one of those kinds....saving cash would be great, especially on a MONTHLY RATE plan!!! Gosh I guess theres ALOT more I need to know or find out.

had the 4gb, now have the 8gb. a few software upgrades lately on apple.com makes the phone alot more user friendly. you'll love the phone, promise. im always accessing this site on my phone and posting replies as well.

OK, I bout ready to get one just because this thing is like the lochness monster.....does it really work or not and is it all true,lol. Seriously I will be picking one up but WHEN is the question, I also have found info that in June (a few months away) they will be releasing a 2nd generation iphone which has 3g technology allowing for alot faster and wider range of internet usage....I am goin to get one I just dont want to get one and then have to pay for an upgrade as I always seem to do with Nextel. Thanks for responding and please keep pouring in whatever you know about the phone and services!!! Also I hear no multi media messages or picture mail?? WOW, or is it I must go to a seperate website doable from the phone itself to view those types of messages, thats a kink as I get my "female friends" to frequently send me jaw droppers or things to help my day go easier

jerz i'm sure they have made hacks for all the above mentioned problems you wrote..like i said just google iphone hack forum and there should be stuff you can look up. If not, ask those peeps on there..they sure know alot more then any mallers here i'm sure.

Thanks Mr. Who......I will look into that but after considering it, I am going with the legit AT&T version, just want to get it at the right time or get the right one, every PHONE FORUM I go to either gives me 1 of 2 answers: YEAH IT RULES or IT SUCKS.....I was hoping some of the fine members in the sports forums I view could give me personal experiences without the luggage or baggage, so far so good.....thanks as always!!

well if you want to know from personal experience..including me i know 3 people that has an iphone. All 3 are degenerate gamblers that uses the phone for gambling purposes and all 3 have the hacked version that you can use with tmobile service. One advantage is like i mentioned the 5.99 internet if you dont have wifi around. Another is that you're not obligated to Atnt's 2 year agreement..gl whatever you decide.

getting a hacked version will save you time. its the same thing w/ the itouch also, you keep learning about new things all the time but you dont have to worry about the iphone turning into a dinasour right away. if i were you now is a good time to get it i notice the prices usually spike when the new versions are intro'd. right now you can get good deals on the current iphones already beefed up and it will save you time and hassle of figuring things out and trouble shooting problems that sometime may happen...

i'd wait for the 3G model. i'm sure the next release will also have some other bells and whistles as well. and you won't be able to pay for an upgrade if you buy one now. the changes are hardware...it's not like it's a simple software or firmware upgrade. so if you do buy one now, it will be obsolete in a few months

Cool fellas, really appreciate what was offered and I will be looking for the 3g compatible phone to come out, if it cost a lil more so be it.....hopefully I will be funding the purchase of the phone and monthly bill by way of gambling so it ALL shall be worth it Thanks alot!!
