iPhone vs. The Imitators

In the market for a new phone. The iPhone looks good, but I've got Verizon, so I was thinking of getting a Dare or a Voyger fro LG. Anyone got any views on this? I've never had much trouble w/ Verizon service anywhere in the country, but I don't know much about AT&T cellular service, which is what has me a little skeptical on switching to an iPhone,

depends on how you use your phone and what you mostly use it for. Verizon has the best quality service as far as reception but can be pricey.I've never used any verizon phones so I don't know how their functionality is. AT&T isn't far behind with service and the iPhone is the best and easiest phone to use. Internet browsing is like having a touchscreen computer pretty much. Apple constantly comes out with new apps and games. 3g service is like having wifi so that takes care of all your mobile betting needs LOL. iPhone also has gps and serves as an iPod too. Those are some cool features I'm sure there's a lot more and I'm sure verizon has em all too but I'd definately recommend the iphone.

I have the iPhone and love it but I think Verizon cell service is slightly better than AT&T

i used to have AT&T. dropped calls all the time. so i switched to verizon. never had any problems with verizon..very solid service. but when my contract ends in 10 days, i'm going back to at&t because i want an iphone. i just hope their service has improved over the last 2 years.

also, verizon has the blackberry storm. might want to check that out. it's a touchscreen phone. but imo, the app store is what separates the iphone from any other out there.

Thanks for the info, guys. I heard Cappersmall, BetJam, etc. is pretty easily accessed w/ the iPhone. Anyone have any experience using any of the other smart phones w/ the betting websites?

if you unlock the iphone it still works with other companies, trust me I worked in the cell phone (IT( industry for 2 years). the T-Mobile G1 is the best phone on the market right now! I have a T-Mobile wing and love it but the G1 is by far & away the best phone on the market. It just came out and is smaller and easier to use than the iphone along with all the other features the iphone has
