Ahh not really Big Winner. I ask you last Tuesday to set the peramiters. You did not respond. You did not post almost all week. Then you pick a rare evening when I didnt check in here (at the Suns game) and declare yourself the winner? Nice try beg fella.

I requested Rome to lay some down for baseball. In the intermin he was banned.

The basement belt does not pass by default. It is a fun contest to see who wins the most games. If you would like to challege for ttitle, we will lay down rules and then get at it in a fun manner. If your goal is to "win" by any means necessary, it will not be fun or entertaining.

Let me know and gl

JonnyBlaze you want a shot for the title? Stand in line please. You did not ask me to set up the peramiters. I will have everything set up by tonight and we will start tommorow. I would prefer that we had some fun, and enjoy this challenge too. Please be check back with me this evening to see if everything is good to go for tomorrow. Good luck trying to get back your basement belt JB.

Lol. Sounds good. Only rule I have if you want to do baseball/baskell mix, it has to be a unit thing for bases

Well, normally we just do wins and losses. But with baseball, there needs to be some incentive to keep away from heavy favs, or else its too easy. We would do something like one fav and one dog, or we could have the first one to X amount of units in bases based on one unit plays. Combne this with straight-up basketball wins and we got a go.

Reply please

How about no units just straight up wins but we can pick a favorite higher than say -150. Does that sound fair or should it be -130? Just let me know. I really don't want to do units, so if we can avoid it then it would be good.

How about this: three baseball plays nightly: One fav (any) one dog (any) and one total (any). Then we play every NBA playoff game (side or total ) for the night. Use scores and odds opening lines.

I like your idea on NBA but I still don't see the big challenge with MLB. Let's make it three plays for baseball, just like you said one fav (under -150) one dog (any) and one total (any) deal?

I also wanted to see about the rules with absences, what can we do so that we don't miss say two days in a row. Make up picks, and time before post, should there be a rule on the latest we can post picks?

I dont like the -150 thing. Forces us to pick low dogs and eliminates too many games. We should have the whole schedule open to us

Okay let's do it the way you described in post #11 then. How about my questions to you in post #13?
