The joke is offensive towards Jews, period. It was meant simply to be funny but the owner of the forum should hold himself to a higher standard.

Not saying I don't get the joke, or that I am highly offended, but the specific mention that the person is jewish....

is just like when a gentile says "jew them down" in a room full of people not realizing that is hugely offensive.

GFoots--I have to respectfully disagree. The "jew them down" comments are derogatory because the purpose of the comment is to perpetuate a negative stereotype (i.e. that Jews are cheap). Here, it is actually a compliment, in that the point is that the Jews are smart enough to figure out how to beat the system (and get laid at the same time--LOL).

Not trying to start any battles here. There are plenty of comment here over the years that I thought were offensive to Jews ("Jew-pons", "Schneiderman", etc...). I didn't see this one that way at all.

This was emailed to me by one of my good friends who happens to be Jewish.

Are you Jewish and offended? Or are you just assuming it's offensive? Just curious

I certainly wouldn't want to offend any religion
