Brutal. Tried to get short Wednesday at $65 but no shares to borrow available! Would've been nice.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

wasn't comparing the percentage drop. Obviously 60 to 2 in a day and a half is alot more precipitous than 170 to 2 in a year.

My only point was that 1 year ago this was a rock-solid financial institution and the price reflected that. Even at 60 the other day, the handwriting was on the wall. Wasn't it ?

yes, if you were in any ibank stock after december you were at extremely high risk. even december was very late in the subprime crisis...but that is the latest anyone really should have been involved with these guys. i feel bad for the employees that owned this stock...essentially lost a large percentage of their retirement fund

And the Feds had to help J.P. Morgan with the buy out. Save your winter wages. It is going to be a long summer.

Haven't heard ANY of the Presidential candidates offer specifics as to what they would do about it.

They talk about health care, they talk about Iraq. They talk about there being problems with the economy, but no one says specifically how they will fix it. Meanwhile, $4.00 a gallon for gas will be here before you know it.
