I think something is wrong with the calculator on the BFC site (or it didnt load properly for this particular game)...

I put in Risk 30 and this came out....

Is there something wrong with the site?

If you can't change it, i'm fine with the bet but, what if it calculated some outrageous number and cost me a few hundo?

First of all I have enjoyed BFC very much so far. Good lines, fast interface but I also have seen this multiple times.

3 different times I have had it occur where suddenly the field where you normally enter "Win" is changed to "Risk"...they change places. I put in the bet exactly as I want it and it changes it to another value.

There is 100% a bug in the software, I am sure of it. To prove it however I would need a guest account where I wouldn't be risking my own $$$!!

I don't think it's anything sinister, just a bug. So for example, I have bought a half point and get a line say of -115 with the half point buy. I enter 115 to win 100, and suddenly when it goes through it say something like "127 to win 115". It is mixing up the positions of the fields and I am sure I did it correctly. First time...wasn't sure. 2nd time, was sure but won the bet 3rd time I was positive it was an issue.

Also, I would highly recommend a confirmation pop-up window for all bets. Once you hit submit that sucker goes through..which is cool. But a confirmation window with the bet that is about to go through would not only be good customer service but would quickly identify the bug in the software that causes these errors.


Scr0da's example is more extreme but imo seems the same problem. A interface bug of some sort....

Anyway sorry to air this in public but it's not a knock on the site at all, just something that should be addressed ASAP.

Yeah, having same issue.

Also, getting F'in sick of the 5-6 second delay after trying to sumbit bet.. Always changing lines against my pick a half pt.. Dont know whats up with the delay

Just now seeing this scr0da and admit that your screen shot is very odd. Did you call the office yesterday like I asked you to when I did not have internet access?

GTFoots, email me and I will set you up with a Guest account if you are still willing to experiment with this and report your findings. I will be doing the same for the hour to see if I can duplicate what has been reported.
