I got called once when I was in college, but I was able to get out of it. I told them that I was about to graduate & it was imperative that I stayed in school. I showed proof of my course payment, course schedule & I got excused. This was all before I even had to go to the court house.

Gobbler, if you go in and go off on the person in trouble I promise they will take your name off of any lists. I went off of the person when the judge asked me if I had any problem serving. Worked for me but I got a lecture in front of everyone before I left. Was a little embarrassing but I have not been called in for jury duty in over 15 years. If I get called in again I will do the same thing, well worth it.
