Could you possibly NOT be insane? It would be hard to believe!

I say they put her in a car and roll her into the ocean. Why should we have to pay for someone like this. I think to many people get off on the insane weapon. Insane or not this bitch deserves to die a horrible death. Like I said, take her to the nearest river and tie her into the car and roll her in.

Why does she deserve to die a horrible death?

She needs help.

Like I said, the insane charge gets used to much IMO. If yout take someones life then you should die the same way.

Living in Houston, I have read a lot about this case and there is little diubt in my mind that Yates is insane. Only those that are hell bent on vengence would think that this woman should be executed.

for those of you that have never dealt with the insanity defense it is the hardest defense to put on....for them to convince 12 people that she had no conscious knowledge of what she did at the time I would say that she is probably insane

Sharp.

Sometimes the crime itself is an indication of the mental state. Further, being labeled "insane" doesnt let you go free like some movies would have you believe. Yeates will be confined to a horrible state mental hospital that is akin to a jail with medicine.

Hell bent ? Thats out of line Judge. You have your beliefs and I have mine. I will side with children every single time. I may be uniformed with the entire case but someone should have known something was wrong with this lady before it went this far. Mental wards I know are bad but to kill a child is wrong I don't care how you look at it. To each their own but I am very tired of the liberal attitude that so many have. If I had the final vote death row people would get one month.
Convince 12 people ? OJ is a fine example of 12 people coming to wrong conclusion. In time we all have to answer to the big guy in the sky.

so steeel first you say execute all murderers, then you say our system is flawed and isnt reliable enough to put away the oj's,, so which is it? so if you were falsely charged with murder steel,, you should still be executed immediatly right?

No you have one month to appeal your case. Appeals are costing this country MILLIONS. To each their own and yes our system is flawed, nothing is perfect. We all know many murders in prison that don't need to be on death row. Bundy, dead, Charles mason ect. All I am saying is if you admit to taking a life you should pay for it with your own. I don't need a lawyer to tell me any different. Lawyers are the problem with a lot of cases in society today. It all about money.

Another example, I lost my nephew to a kid who killed him with a baseball bat. He then ran over him several times. This happened out in the country and we had the whole town looking for him. The kid tha killed him was helping and as we got close to the scene he stopped helping. He is now sitting in jail for the rest of his life. A life sentence for taking a life in a thrill kill. My nephew had the opportuinty to be on earth for a whole 18 years. This kid has no right to be on earth for any more years. Like I said we all have our feelings about the justice system and I know for a fact that I don't stand alone with my feelings.

fees, lawyers, appeals, and taxes are the cost of a civilized nation....we may not be perfect but it is the best out there bro...I appreciate the fact you zeaolously defend childrens rights...but to totally not recognize the fact someone maybe mentally ill is to totally disaprove of recognized legal and medical facts
