because in my college some computers are for "academic use only" and the nosey lady saw me posting on here

so i told her, "Where else can you learn how to parlay two heavy favorites so you don't lay the juice?"

She just walked away after that, she could take this keyboard and stick it in her @ss because the space bar is jacked up

Just say you are just practicing your English (spelling & grammar).
The best way to practice that is to post in here as often as you can.

Don't forget to tell her that this site IS for academic purposes.
Tell her that you can get math help on this site.

I know what you mean. How many people look at their own avs or read the posts that they have posted previously??

It is embarrassing trying to explain the avs to the librarian.
I wonder how many members of CM (both genders) do not come here as often as they would like because of the content, be it at home (with the kids around) or at work (with coworkers around).

I hope they don't start filtering out websites at your college.
It would be a real drag.

thanks doc... i'll remember that next week when the crazy lady tries to yell at me

new trick though... i save an Excel spreadsheet as the backround of the computer... as soon as somebody walks by, I minimize the screen and all they see is the Excel spreadsheet

I mentioned how to avoid getting caught doing inappropriate things while at work or school.

The first thing you must do is find a public terminal where it would be difficult for the librarian or anyone to sneak up on you unnoticed.
