Keeping sports betting fresh and exciting when you have been in the game a long time
Only way that works for me is to take a complete break from it and try not to think about it at all, even if its just for one day. Anyone got any other ways? or is this about it?

Switching it out every once in awhile. ie; straight bets & parlay bettor mostly, but when that gets old I switch it out to teasers, open parlays. props, etc etc

I think when you feel this way, it's wise to take a break. Sports betting done correctly isn't supposed to be fun, it is supposed to be about making money.
That said, I always like to make $10 or $20 small bets on nonsense to entertain myself when I get bored. Maybe doing 10 $10 bets on an array of college basketball games or a $10 5 team parlay or something. These are almost always donations, but kept small enough it has minimal impact and keeps me from "entertaining" myself with big money.
