L.A. Mayor Signs Law Requiring Condoms In Porn Films!

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has signed into law an ordinance requiring that actors in adult movies made in Los Angeles use condoms.

Villaraigosa's office says the mayor signed the law Monday. It was passed by the City Council last week and will take effect 41 days after it is posted by the city clerk.

Officials with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which lobbied for such a law for years, expressed jubilation Tuesday at the mayor's action.

The group's president, Michael Weinstein, said the foundation will now turn its attention to getting similar laws adopted elsewhere, including Los Angeles County.

After the City Council adopted the measure, several of the industry's largest porn purveyors said they would consider leaving Los Angeles, known as the nation's porn capital, if it became law.

They should focus their energy on balancing their own budget and stop stealing from other states.

Actually a big blow to the film biz
I have a friend who works in porn and says it will go under ground and possibly be more profitable ...

This biz went from being worth millions to hard to make money over the past few years..there is just too much content out there.

There are close to 300 to 400 porn stars since the 70's listed on that site I posted! The last case in 2004, the guy gave it to 5 women, in which, they went and slept with 3 to 4 people each!!!!! Spreading that shit like a wildfire!
