Lady holding the baby in New York

I'm sorry but this dumb bitch had warrants. They cannot cuff her with a baby in her hands so what are they supposed to do, stand there for hours? They asked her dumbass to leave several times and if you know you have warrants maybe you should have left peacefully. I love how it is always the cops fault when she is the criminal and not cooperating. It's a joke.

It's been all over the news around here with everybody saying the cops should be fired and charged with child abuse.

IMO they didn't do anything wrong.

Well.... they did not know anything about the warrant (singular, not plural) until AFTER she was arrested and processed. So that had ZERO to do with it.

So, a lady goes to a social services office to get health coverage for her baby. She has to wait in line for 3 hours. There are no chairs for her to sit in, while holding a 1 year old infant. So, she sits down on the floor (in the line, not somewhere in the middle of the facility where she is blocking anyone). And for THAT, the police are called to remove her. And instead of trying to resolve the issue peaceably, they literally rip the baby from her hands.

And you don't think that there was anything wrong with how that whole situation went down ?

She could have solved it peacefully by doing what the officers asked her to do. Instead the dumb bitch decided to play tug o war with her baby.

No i was brought up to respect police. If you think they are in the wrong, you can settle that at your court date. Fighting them is stupid and it never usually ends well. There are 2 sides to every story and the police are just trying to do their job too.

They shouldn't have been called in the first place.

Well they were. Someone obviously thought she was a problem and her actions proved she had zero interest in cooperating with anybody.

They should have just shot the bitch--and saved us all the trouble. Right ?

I am off to Court. You completely miss my point though. They should not have been called in the first place, as the woman did nothing wrong. Once called, they handled the situation horribly.

If you had waited in line for 3 hours somewhere (let's say it was DMV to get a new license), you wouldn't have tried to dissuade them from telling you to leave ? You would have just said "oh yes, Mr. Police Officer, if you ask me to leave, right or wrong, I will just pick up my things and go." Now let's say your grandchild was with you. What if they said, we are taking your grandchild away from you because you have not left quietly. You would have been OK with that ? Really ??

Extreme examples yes, but not that much different than what happened here.

Have a great day everyone.

While you were giving them a "Yes sir and no sir" were they taking your child from your hands?

Absolutely I would have done exactly what was asked, whether I agreed or not. I know things only go downhill from there if I don’t. And if I had my son with me, that is an even bigger reason NOT to make a scene. I calmly talk through it and if I have to I come back the next day. I don’t stand there like a dumb fuck tugging back and forth with my kid and fighting with them. If she left like she was asked to none of that shit happens. Go home and make some phone calls. That is what you do.

And the police were called Keith. Right or wrong they were and they have a duty to respond to the call. If they get there and ask her to leave and she refuses, she is escalating the situation at that point, not them.

If I was standing in line that long and the cops asked me to leave I think I'd be a bit upset myself. What did I do? Are you saying it doesn't matter what you did or didn't do, the cops are there now so you have to leave?

I should just call the cops on anybody I don't want to look at and make them leave wherever I am at the time. Yeah, something ain't right here. That's why I rarely leave the house anymore. It's dumb out there. And everybody smells like cigarettes.

Right and the police also said they did nothing wrong. Just another welfare bitch acting like a snowflake and disrespecting authority.

P.S. NYPD Internal Affairs Bureau found no wrongdoing on the part of the officers involved that would result in discipline or change of status.

From what is seen in the video and from many brief news articles, the woman did nothing wrong.

But, maybe employees at the office have an unsettling history of events with the woman? I doubt they would call the cops just because a random woman sat down.

Also, I doubt the cops would just show up and immediately rip the baby away from the mother. They would make contact with the person who called and find out what the issue is.

I really don't think the public has the whole story.

Also, even though the charges were dropped, it doesn't mean the the woman has zero fault in the incident.

Thatís my point. People act like the police just showed up and ripped the baby out of her hand. I guarantee they tried talking to her and she was probably irritated and she probably acted like a bitch. I highly doubt it escalated without her escalating it. Isnít this the same woman who had a warrant for check fraud? Yeah she is special.
