Law change: Beer sold before noon on Sunday (NY)

Last week the state passed a law stating that beer can be purchased anytime after 8AM on Sunday's. The previous time was noon.

Just thought someone would take advantage of this in their travels.

Where is that? In Indiana, there is no beer sold on Sunday and in Ky you buy it on Sunday after noon, I think.

Here in Texas no beer sales on Sundays untill noon and no liqour store sales on Sunday at all they are closed. Bars can open on Sunday but you have to be serving food if you want to sell any beer or liquor before noon. Liquor store hours are from 10:00 am til 9:00 pm Monday through Saturday. Now you can by beer or wine in a 7-11 or grocery store Monday - Friday from 7:00 am til Midnight and on Saturdays from noon til 1:00 am and on Sundays from noon til midnight. Here is something i will never understand. We all hear about stop underage drinking but here in Texas it is legal to get in a bar/club at the age of 18. If your parents want to take you for a drink they can serve you if you are 5 years old. Then again the bar/club owners dont have to let minors in the club and dont have to serve anyone if they dont want to unless they are 21+ These are just some more stupid laws floating around.

Its 11am in Chicago, used to be noon also until about 10 years ago. I think its a dumbass law. Just got back from Vegas and the liquor flows 24/7. I dont know how anyone lives in that city.
