Learning Sportsbooks, Help appreciated

Switching over from pro-line too using an online sportsbook is a whole new world for me. Im still trying too figure everything out. They are Simple questions. Ill just start with this one for now.

When you can bet on the Handicap part of the game, This is similar too a Pro-LIne point Spread, Right?

Example,

Bulls, +2 at 1.935
Knicks -2 at 1.971

So too win your wager if you bet on the knicks they would have too win by 2points right? Then im not sure on the +2, what must the bulls do for you too win your wager if i were too bet on them? not lost by more then 2points? the + has me confused, LOL

Sorry for the newb questions, Im new too sportsbooks and havent seen these kind of game odds before, Bare with me.

Thank you and have a merrychristmas

Cody

yes its same as proline wager.. just u dont have to parlay everything. lol

knicks -2 means 2 pushes and 3 or better wins.

I figured thats what -2 meant, Im confused on the +2.. If the bulls lose by 2 Push lose by three wins? confused on the +..

Im loving the sportbook, so many diffrent options for my wagers rather then proline.

Another question?

If i parlay my games and just bet the moneyline. Does a team have too win by a certain amount of points like in sportselects? or is a win a win regardless of how many points.. example, NFL, 3 ties, 4 or more points is a win.

Hope my question makes sense,

IF you play the dog +2, you can lose by 1 and still win. 2 would push, 3 would lose.

Moneyline - no points but different odds. If a game is -160, you have to risk 160 to win 100. On a parlay, you have to win both games. You don't have to bet parlays with online books like you do with proline, etc. You can (at better odds) but don't have to.

Hope that makes sense

Well it's like the lotto - odds are stacked against you but people still play it, out of convenience & hope to hit big
