Leave of Absence

Guys/Galz,

Just found out on Monday that I'm going to be changing jobs July 1st of this year. Going to be a major undertaking (tying up loose ends at my old job/learning my new job) that's going to occupy much of my time for the next few months. In light of these developments, I'm going to take a temporary hiatus from the Mall (at least through the MLB Allstar break, maybe 'til football season). I will have very little time to devote to handicapping, so I won't be posting plays during this time of change (sorry to all you faders out there!).........

I will still check in from time to time and will be occasionally patrolling the MLB Forum to make sure you guys are playing nice. Hope everyone has a big MLB season and a great summer, and I will return as soon as I get through all these changes on the personal front!

Keep it real while I'm gone, Mallrats!

As we discussed by email - take care of the job/personal stuff and we'll be okay and we'll be here when you get back.

P.S. Not you can use that 5/10 minutes you use to handicapp on much more important things in life. lol

Seriously though - real life stuff come first and the best of luck to you. You are a class act.

Sorry and just kidding (lol). Shark23 spends 2-5 hrs per game to handicap.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

As is evidenced by my 0-9 showing in baseball on Monday. That's right, 0 and freakin 9! That's almost statistically impossible, but I managed to pull it off!

I read a study where a some students at a major university last year (or the year before) employed in chimp from their animal research department to randomly pick basketball games ATS simply by showing the chimp the matchup on paper and training the chimp to arbitrarily point to one of the teams on the paper. The chimp hit 52% over a 4 week period!

I'm going to be interviewing primates during my time off..........

Good luck with everything my fellow 23.

I hope your new job turns out to be a prosperous one and you are back here ASAP. Take care of the family and yourself as well and we'll see you when the O's are only 18 back of the Yanks.
